Welcome!

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share your personal data through our services. It's important that you read the entire policy, but here's a summary to help you navigate:

  • We do not sell personal data. Our business model is based on subscriptions and paid products, not selling personal data to third parties.

  • We limit the information we need. We require information to create an account, provide our services, and meet our obligations to our users and legal requirements. The rest is optional.

  • We give you control. We provide you with options to control your privacy on Appointt.

Responsibility for Personal Data

Appointt allows customers to configure their own data fields. This means that customers are responsible for what personal data they store on the platform and how they use it. Appointt acts as a data processor in accordance with the GDPR and ensures that all data processing activities comply with applicable data protection laws.

Security and Data Protection

Appointt places the highest priority on security and protecting your data. We employ technical and organizational measures such as SSL encryption and firewalls to ensure data security. These measures are supported by a differentiated access control system to prevent unauthorized access. Regular security audits and penetration tests further ensure a high level of security.

When using the Appointt platform, we collect the following personal data:
  • Full name
  • Contact information such as email address
  • Company information such as company name and department
  • Other voluntarily provided information for profile completeness

Purpose Limitation and Data Processing

We use your data to enable you to use our platform and to provide you with relevant information and notifications. Your data will not be sold to third parties for advertising purposes. External service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., hosting providers) only access your data to perform their services for us and are contractually bound to process the data solely in accordance with our instructions and applicable data protection laws.

Data Sharing and International Transfers

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties outside the EU/EEA without your express consent. Should data be transferred to a third country, we ensure that appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or Binding Corporate Rules are in place.
